July 2020 Webinar Series

The Know Your Status program based out of Saskatoon Tribal Council is hosting virtual education sessions. Topics include “How to Spot Fake News”, “Drugs and the Brain” and “A Guide to Talking Sex with Kids”. Webinars will be about 45 minutes and will leave some room for questions. Register below today!

Webinars take place over Microsoft Teams. You don’t need to download the app to watch, you’ll just need the link provided to you upon registering.

Need proof that #harmreductionsaveslives?

Numbers from B.C. have shown a significant decrease in overdose deaths despite the number of calls about overdose to 911 staying the same. In other words, the number of overdoses is the same, but the number of people passing away from an overdose is lower.

Harm reduction interventions in B.C. such as naloxone, supervised injections facilities and overdose-prevention sites are behind the decrease in deaths. S.K. needs to catch up with our harm reduction services.
